About Chris
Chris’s career began in the “school of hard knocks,” walking the streets of West Yorkshire selling fax machines and learning resilience early on: every no was one step closer to the next yes. That determination became the foundation of a 30+ year career in the IT industry, spanning leadership roles at Siemens, Cisco, VMware, and Virgin Media.
By 22 Chris was already leading teams, and he went on to manage international organisations, drive turnaround strategies for underperforming business units, and deliver consistent, sustainable growth. Along the way, he has built a broad set of commercial and leadership skills — from strategy execution and operational discipline to coaching leaders through complexity.
Passionate about mentoring and coaching, Chris has a proven record of developing high-performing teams that achieve growth while creating outstanding outcomes for customers. His approach helps clients cut through complexity, align people to purpose, and deliver results that last.
When not working with clients, Chris can usually be found enjoying the Yorkshire Dales with family, friends, and his dogs – often with a pint of Theakston’s best in hand. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he still plays, coaches, and watches sport (whenever his knees allow).
